Thrive in Cricket Foundations Program: Spring 2026 Registrations

For the young cricketer who wants to take the next step.

Thrive in Cricket Foundations is an eight-week development programme for players who want more than just extra cricket coaching.

Across the programme, players work on their cricket with Matt Bell while also developing the confidence, self-awareness, preparation, emotional skills and performance habits that help them perform better when it matters.

The Performance Life part is taught through real cricket situations — pressure, mistakes, selection, confidence, frustration, preparation and feedback — which makes the learning practical and easier to understand.

The result is not just a better cricketer, but a more capable, independent and self-aware young person.

We run two cohorts:

Foundations Development — typically Years 9–11
Foundations Performance — typically Years 11–13

School year is only a guide. Matt and Ellie will place players in the group that best matches their experience, maturity, confidence and development needs.

Dates: Sundays, 18 October–6 December
Venue: Sydenham Indoor Centre
Price: $650 + GST - payment plan available
Places: Maximum 16 per cohort

What Each Player Gets

• 8 cricket training sessions — technical and tactical skill development

• 4 group Performance Life sessions covering the THRIVE behaviour pillars

  (weeks 2, 4, 6 and 8)

• 1 individual 1-to-1 Performance Life coaching session (30 minutes)

• A branded Thrive in Cricket workbook to use across the program and

  beyond

• A Personal Development Plan — a real document they keep and build on

• A Week 1 parent and player session — families are introduced to the

  PDP and how they can support their cricketer
